Holden started its journey in 1856, and in 2020 – it will sadly reach the end of the road. Built in 1950, the FX Holden was the first car to be mass-produced in volume in Australia. It was designed by Australians, built by Australians and manufactured largely by Australian components. This particular FX Holden was donated to Museums Victoria in 1969.
