Wet weather moves in from the west overnight and will move eastwards across the United Kingdom throughout tomorrow. Conditions will improve in the north and north-west by the afternoon period with showers, heavy and at times thundery affecting parts of Scotland and certainly Northern Ireland where here we could see some rather active storms developing tomorrow afternoon. SW England, S England, Central S England, S Wales and the south-east will see a further pulse of rainfall moving through after

Rain continuing overnight for eastern parts of England, Northern England and Scotland. The rain will become increasingly patchy during the early hours of tomorrow morning across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, although for northeastern parts of England and eastern parts of Scotland the rain will be slow to clear with further 'heavier' bursts to be expected. The rain from last night is continuing to track over us and is affecting northern England this morning. Elsewhere there will be some showers with some snow at high elevations. During the day another band of rain will edge in over Ireland and head east during the evening and overnight.
