The Philadelphia Police Department, Pennsylvania State Police and SEPTA acknowledge the long and painful history of anti-Asian violence and hate crimes in the United States. And unfortunately, we continue to see an increase in anti-Asian violence and hate crimes; with more than 11,500 national hate incidents being reported since the beginning of the pandemic.
