Éamon Bulfin was born to Irish parents in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1892. Upon returning to Ireland, Éamon was one of the first students to enrol in Patrick Pearse’s, St. Enda’s School. He was sworn into the IRB in 1912, and a year later joined his local branch of Irish Volunteers. He then rose to the rank of lieutenant and led the company to the GPO on Easter Monday 1916.
