New habitat unlocked🔓for salmon, steelhead, and lamprey in the Klamath River Basin. Last fall, after the removal of the Klamath River dams, Chinook and Coho salmon immediately returned to Jenny Creek, a tributary just upstream of the former site of the Iron Gate Dam, but this small dam continued to block passage to about 1 mile of important spawning and rearing habitat.
