Here is the isomalt hair tutorial that I use for my Beetlejuice cake 🖤🤍💚 (check out my previous reel if you want to see the finished cake) Don’t judge me with this technique 😅, but it’s the best way for me to get thin hair, so why not 😂 I tried to drizzle it back and forth and it didn’t work like the way I want it. I made the hair using green, yellow and white isomalt from @simicakes1. I also add neon green gel color from @bakers.express Use ceramic bowl to melt your isomalt is the best way

Isomalt is one of those things that might be daunting to work with at first, but I assure you, she is plenty easy :) Just make sure to wear gloves and be careful when melting it down, as this stuff is scorching and can burn you! If you would like to see how I constructed this super tall cake, I have a video demonstration listed for you guys in the comments. For some reason it wouldn't work up here. extra tall cakes just take the overall look and prestige of the dessert table to the next level ;)
