They have never failed me. The amount of effort they put into their games have always been a labor of love. It's more of how good the characters stories are & how wo ke everything else in the game world will be. GTA V already lost a lot of what people loved GTA for, i just feel they'll take it even further these days. I absolutely loved RDR2 but many of the higher-ups in Rockstar have left since then.
