Dead Horse Point State Park in Utah sits so close to Canyonlands National Park that it makes you wonder why it isn’t part of it. The canyon and views here are just as dramatic as those in any national park, plunging more than 2,000 feet deep and offering truly breathtaking scenery. It deserves far more recognition and better funding than it receives.
