More than three months after Election Day, the race for North Carolina Supreme Court associate justice still isn’t over as a heated legal battle continues in state court.

More than 100 protesters packed the Wake County courthouse Friday, for a hearing in a lawsuit seeking to throw out more than 60,000 people’s ballots from the 2024 elections.
