The Chicago Bears will be in the national spotlight on Black Friday in a massive showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The last time the Bears played on a Saturday was on Dec. 24, 2022, in a 35-13 loss to the Buffalo Bills. This will also be the first Bears-Packers game in a primetime setting in two years. The last time was when the Bears and Packers' Week 18 game in 2023 was FOX's "America's Game of the Week" as both teams were eying playoff berths.

This year, the Philadelphia Eagles will host the Chicago Bears in a highly anticipated showdown, marking the first-ever head-to-head meeting between quarterbacks Jalen Hurts and rookie Caleb Williams. The two teams haven’t squared off since December 2022, when Hurts led the Eagles to a 25-20 victory.

The league released the Bears are playing a Black Friday game. At least they won't be playing on Thanksgiving. They are playing the world champion Eagles at 2 p.m. on Nov. 28 in Week 13 of the NFL season.

There's now a lot of hope surrounding the team and on Monday, the NFL announced that the Bears would be taking on the Green Bay Packers for a Week 16 matchup on Dec. 20. Of course, the two teams are a part of the biggest rivalry in NFL history, and the Bears quickly reacted to the news, saying "Week 16 at our place," via a social media post.

Earlier this month, nickelback Kyler Gordon became the first Chicago Bears NFL Draft pick made by general manager Ryan Poles to receive an extension from the team. “Impact player for us,” Poles said.
