New York police are investigating the attack of a Brooklyn woman harassed last week by a pro-Israeli group of men in an encounter captured on multiple videos, which has incited demonstrations and condemnation from religious groups.

One woman was injured and another faced "vile" threats during clashes between protesters and counter-protesters in Brooklyn, Mayor Eric Adams said.

The police were investigating the attack in Crown Heights, where hundreds of pro-Israel demonstrators surrounded a woman and hurled slurs at her.
