Seven people were hospitalized late Thursday after Dallas police say several people opened fire on a group of people outside a gas station in Wheatley Place.

All eastbound lanes of Interstate 635 were closed Thursday near Garland after a RV caught fire, officials said.

A man died in a house fire Saturday morning in northwest Dallas, according to Dallas Fire-Rescue. Firefighters were dispatched at 4:45 a.m. in response to a 911 call reporting a structure fire at a home, located at 3055 Sumter Drive, said Jason Evans, a Dallas Fire-Rescue spokesman.

Multiple people were shot in Dallas on Thursday night. Seven victims were hospitalized, with two in critical condition, police say.

One person is dead after a high-water rescue in Dallas. Dallas Fire-Rescue said crews responded to a 911 call just after midnight after someone reported their vehicle was stuck in high water under the I-635 bridge at Park Central Drive.

DALLAS — One person died after their vehicle was stuck in high water in northern Dallas on Wednesday, officials said.
