It’s been revealed that the Cleveland Browns had very impressive viewership numbers in their first preseason game of the season. Friday night’s matchup against the Carolina Panthers generated 2.3 million viewers on NFL Network. For comparison, the average number of NBA fans who tune into a regular season game is 1.53 million, according to Forbes.

The Panthers will host the Browns on Wednesday for a joint practice. The workout will help Carolina evaluate its talent heading into preseason.
