(KBTX) - Former Texas A&M head coach Jimbo Fisher is trying his hand at television as a part of the ACC Network, parent company ESPN announced in a release Tuesday. Fisher will be an analyst for the network’s Saturday morning pregame show “ACC Huddle,” which will travel to a marquee game each week for the first time in the show’s history.
This much is clear: Even though the ACC Network isn't scheduled to launch as a linear channel until 2019, and even though ESPN could face distribution challenges, the ACC is better off today.
Former Florida State football coach Jimbo Fisher will join the ACC Network as an analyst during the 2025 season, the network announced Tuesday.
During his tenure at FSU (2010-17), Fisher compiled an 83-23 record after serving as Bobby Bowden's assistant for two seasons (2007-09), including winning three straight ACC Championships (2012-14) and a BCS National Championship in 2013.
