The Texarkana Texas Fire Department resumed weekly testing of outdoor severe weather warning sirens after replacing old city ones with a new, functional sirens system.

Brunswick, Medina, and Wadsworth participated in the test Thursday as part of Ohio's Severe Weather Awareness Week.

The sirens will sound once for three minutes at 9:50 a.m., Franklin County Emergency Management said. It will replace the weekly test at noon.
