Legendary Milwaukee Brewers broadcaster Bob Uecker had a profound impact on countless players who have played for the organization over the years. So much so that one former Brewers player was moved to tears discussing Uecker’s death on Friday.

Though Adames had already departed for the Giants when Uecker passed, he reached out to people in Milwaukee to attend Uecker's funeral. But the funeral was just a small ceremony for family, so Adames did not get to attend.

Willy Adames played against his former team for the first time on Friday, but afterward shared he was devastated by the passing of Bob Uecker.

Bob Uecker was Milwaukee Brewers baseball. Last month, Uecker passed away at the age of 90, leaving a massive void in the hearts of the Brewers and their fans. Uecker was not only the voice of the team, he was as much a part of it as any player, a constant presence in the clubhouse.

Uecker, who was the voice of the Brewers for more than 50 years, passed away this offseason. The Brewers honored him in their spring opener on Saturday against the Cincinnati Reds.
