The Minnesota Frost won a second consecutive Walter Cup on Monday. Amid the celebration, the reality of PWHL expansion is setting in.

The PWHL draft takes place on June 24, and the Frost will bring the Walter Cup to Tom Reid's Hockey City Pub for the party.

Liz Schepers scored 12 minutes into overtime and the Minnesota Frost won their second straight PWHL Walter Cup with a 2-1 win over the Ottawa Charge on Monday night in Game 4.

Schepers also scored the game-winning goal for Minnesota in the 2024 PWHL Finals. The Frost hoisted the Walter Cup in front of their hometown crowd of 11,024 fans at Xcel Energy Center.
