It sounds like some NBA front offices are happy to see Joe Dumars back in the league as the New Orleans Pelicans' executive vice president of basketball operations.

Baltimore native Derik Queen, who starred as a freshman at the University of Maryland, is headed to the New Orleans Pelicans after he was selected 13th overall in the NBA Draft on Wednesday. Queen was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks.

The Pelicans acquired another lottery pick in the NBA Draft via trade with the Hawks to select big man Derik Queen.
