In double overtime following a one-hour rain delay, Denny Hamlin emerged victorious, holding off Chase Briscoe in Sunday's race at Dover.
Dillon will race Ty Gibbs for the $1 million prize next weekend at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Gibbs finished fifth Sunday at Dover. He beat Tyler Reddick, who placed 12th.
Hamlin won in the No. 11 Toyota for the second straight time at Dover to add to wins this season at Martinsville, Darlington, and Michigan.
NASCAR released an official statement announcing a pause on the Chicago street race in 2026. The event has been dropped from the sport's calendar for next year so that NASCAR could work with the City of Chicago to form a plan that "further optimizes operational efficiencies." The objective is to bring the street race back in 2027.
