Rashford has enhanced his reputation during his loan spell at Aston Villa as he’s returned to form under head coach Unai Emery. Man Utd struggled to offload the England international in January amid his poor form and huge salary as FC Barcelona, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus pulled out of talks.

Marcus Rashford’s chances of joining Aston Villa permanently may have taken a big hit after David Ornstein revealed that the Manchester United loanee has suffered a season-ending injury. Rashford left boyhood club Man Utd in January after failing to impress head coach Ruben Amorim and subsequently being frozen out by the Portuguese.

Manchester United are reportedly in talks with Aston Villa to bring Marcus Rashford back early from his loan spell. The England forward, who picked up a hamstring injury in training last week, is unlikely to play again this season.
