The US and EU announce a trade framework after Trump holds tariff talks with top European official
The United States and the European Union announced a trade framework Sunday after a meeting between President Donald Trump and European Commission
President Donald Trump arrived in Scotland on Friday to visit both his Turnberry and Aberdeen golf properties.
Trump said the U.S. will impose 15 percent tariffs on imports from the 27-nation European Union, although the White House has yet to release specifics.
The Scots are generally not fans of Mr. Trump, and protests are already planned. A group called “Stop Trump Scotland” said it is organizing a “festival of resistance” against Mr. Trump during the trip and has called on John Swinney, the first minister of Scotland, to decline to meet with him.
