The U.S. Navy has released an image showing damage to the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman following the collision with the cargo ship M/V Besiktas-M off the coast of Egypt in the Mediterranean Sea on Tuesday. It appears that Besiktas M hit the Truman with her starboard bow.

A flood warning is issued for the following areas as well: Do not attempt to travel unless you are fleeing an area subject to flooding or under an evacuation order, and it is suggested you move to higher ground as soon as possible. This warning is set to expire at 10:45 p.m. on Saturday.

Much of the eastern half of the United States is bracing for severe weather this weekend, with “life-threatening” flash flooding possible in parts of the Southeast and significant snow set to blanket the Upper Midwest through to New England.
