DETROIT LAKES — Matthew John Critt, 42, of Detroit Lakes, was acquitted by a Becker County jury of felony wildfire arson on June 24.

The Madre Fire ignited Wednesday afternoon in San Luis Obispo and is 5% contained as of Thursday morning, according to Cal Fire.
