Windy conditions coincide with largely sunny conditions on Friday before a storm system and a cold front bring a window of light snow to start the weekend, followed by rain. Friday started off with a cold front moving west to the east as of 7 a.

A report from the National Weather Service was issued on Thursday at 3:04 a.m. for freezing rain and snow until 10:15 a.m. for Northern Worcester as well as Franklin, Hampshire, Hampden and Middlesex counties.
