Wayne State University in Detroit said all classes would be held remotely until further notice due to tensions arising from an anti-Israel encampment.

Spring semester classes were in person Friday at Wayne State University after the school switched to remote operations earlier in the week.

DETROIT — Wayne State University in Detroit suspended in-person classes Tuesday and encouraged staff to work remotely to avoid any problems with a pro-Palestinian encampment that sprouted last week.
