Now that summer league is concluding and the NBA officially begins its dark period, the stars from Las Vegas must be acknowledged because some unexpected players made big splashes.

League is over. The Hornets won the popular and essential summer league event with an 83-78 victory against the Kings.

The Celtics wrapped up Summer League play with a 101-80 win over the Hawks on Sunday from Las Vegas. The C’s finished with a 4-1 record this summer, looking like a solid team that featured multiple potential NBA contributors.

The Celtics (4-1) had 24 assists on their 37 field goals, with Isaiah Wong leading the way with 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting and six assists. The 24-year-old got into 20 games last season with the Hornets and averaged 6.0 points in 13 minutes.
