The Florida Panthers proved themselves undisputed kings of the NHL, repeating as Stanley Cup champions by defeating the Edmonton Oilers in six games.

This year, McDavid (seven goals, 26 assists) and teammate Leon Draisaitl (11 goals, 22 assists) are tied for the playoff scoring lead with 33 points apiece.

McDavid has only one year remaining on his current contract and will be eligible to sign a new extension this summer.
