Hundreds of parents waited hours Saturday for girls to arrive in Kerrville after their Camp Waldemar stay was cut short by the deadly Guadalupe River flood.

As the Hill Country reels from the devastating floods that surged through Kerr County on the Fourth of July, the names of those lost are beginning to emerge. Friday's flood prompted a disaster declaration and a wide-scale emergency response.

The death toll included 28 adults and 15 children. Gov. Greg Abbott's disaster declaration now includes Bexar County.
