U S president Donald Trump’s Golden Dome initiative may come to fruition sooner than expected. While some may question the requirement for an Americanized version of the Israeli air defense system, progress on the Golden Dome front continues to be made.

Israel has its Iron Dome for protection and now the U.S. is developing its own, called the Golden Dome. The Golden Dome is vastly different and more robust.

President Donald Trump announced plans for a complex military defense system similar to Israel's Iron Dome back in January.
