In the 2002 movie, Captain Gantu from the United Galactic Federation travels to Earth after Jumba and Pleakley fail to capture Experiment 626 (aka Stitch). In the movie, the alien pair is played by Zach Galifinakis and Billy Magnussen, who take on a human form, but Gantu is left out of the story.

The latest of live-action Disney movie remakes is here with the release of the new Lilo & Stitch, and that means fans like myself are going to start talking about how the beloved animated version compares to it.

Sadly, Captain Gantu isn’t featured at all in the new Lilo and Stitch movie, but according to the director, there’s a good reason why.

Directed by Dean Fleicsher Camp, the live action version of the Lilo & Stitch movie has been facing massive backlash from fans. Some admirers, who rushed to their nearby cinemas to watch the
