Utility man Andruw Monasterio kept the Brewers' streak going with a pinch-hit, three-run homer in the 11th inning.

The Milwaukee Brewers overcame a ninth-inning deficit on Saturday against the Cincinnati Reds en route to a 6-5 extra-innings victory (box score) that extended their winning streak to a franchise-record and season-high 14 games.

Clinching the new franchise record was far from easy, as the Brewers trailed 2-1 through eight innings of action. Milwaukee kept the game alive in the ninth, with Brice Turang scoring following a throwing error from Elly De La Cruz as he attempted to turn a potential game-ending double play.
