Spirit Airlines enters the Chapter 11 restructuring process again while assuring customers that flights and services will continue operating normally.

Spirit Airlines announced they are filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Aug. 29. The airline, known for low-cost fares, previously emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy in March this year.

The budget airline emerged from bankruptcy in March to softer U.S. domestic fares and high costs that remained after its restructuring.
