In the sixth inning of the 2-1 loss to the Twins at loanDepot park, Kyle Stowers appeared to have tied the score with a blistering single off reliever Brock Stewart that scored Jesús Sánchez from second base.

Brooks Lee and Carlos Correa drove in runs to back a strong start by Simeon Woods Richardson, and Minnesota beat Miami to end the Marlins’ eight-game winning streak. Byron Buxton singled off Janson Junk to begin the game.
