In what turned into a crazy game, Ole Miss held on to get the 34-26 victory over Oklahoma after John Mateer’s Hail Mary fell short of the end zone. The Rebels got more than 400 yards of offense in the effort, led by 315 passing and 53 rushing yards from quarterback Trinidad Chambliss.

The defense held South Carolina to just 1.6 yards per carry and 3.3 yards per play. The Oklahoma defense was 3 of 15 on third down but allowed four fourth-down conversions. Still, Oklahoma kept South Carolina out of the end zone early in the game and had three fourth down stops.
