NFL rumors are pointing the Raiders' Maxx Crosby in many trades. But one insider believes a trade to the Cowboys is the best.

The NFL’s legal tampering period began on Monday, which basically means NFL free agency kicked off. Teams can’t officially sign players until Wednesday, but that didn’t stop everyone from announcing some signings on Monday.

The removal of Crosby’s contract, the addition of longtime Bills cornerback Taron Johnson via trade and the release of quarterback Geno Smith, which becomes official when the NFL’s new league year begins Wednesday, means the Raiders will have roughly $119 million in cap space. That, too, is the most in the NFL.

The Chargers signed veteran fullback Alec Ingold to a two-year, $7.5 million deal Sunday. The $3.9 million Ingold will receive in Year 1 and the $3.75 million average per year puts him in a tie as the NFL's highest-paid fullback.
