Finally, in 1937 Ithaca was able to bring the Model 37 to the market. The Model 37 is a manually operated, slide- or pump-action shotgun fed from a tubular magazine located beneath the barrel.
While eclipsed by the far-better-known Winchester Model 97 and Model 12 “trench” and “riot” shotguns, the Ithaca Model 37 served from World War II all the way through Vietnam.
