Kansas City’s first loss of the season was a sobering reminder that the Chiefs still have a gap to close to become champions again.

Seattle relied on its best qualities Sunday night to secure an important win and deal the Chiefs their first loss of the season.

Butker came up short on a 58-yard attempt to end the first half, with Kansas City trailing 10-0 after cornerback Nohl Williams intercepted Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold in the end zone. The friendship bracelet has become synonymous with Taylor Swift, wife of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The fashion accessory played a role in the pair first meeting.

Early and often, the Seahawks offense attacked Chiefs' slot cornerback L'Jarius Sneed by throwing over the middle to wide receivers Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Cooper Kupp. Pro Football Focus says Sneed allowed five catches for 83 yards and four first downs.
