Amazon won't be moving forward with a second season of Cruel Intentions, the new TV series that served as a reboot of the 1999 film of the same name. The news comes four months after the show's debut on Prime Video in 2024.

Prime Video has canceled drama series Cruel Intentions after its first season, EW confirmed. Starring Sarah Catherine Hook, Zac Burgess, and Savannah Lee Smith, the show was an adaptation of the 1999 film of the same name about a pair of step-siblings who make a bet about whether he can bed the chaste daughter of their new headmaster.

A mazon isn’t moving forward any longer with its television version of Cruel Intentions. Variety reports that the series from Amazon Prime Video was canceled after one season. T
