NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Ford family’s Zebra, Ed, took the internet and local Middle Tennessee residents by storm after he escaped and was missing for over a week. Taylor and Laura Ford had just gotten the zebra on Friday, May 30. But then, the very next morning, on Saturday, May 31, Ed went missing.

Taylor and Laura Ford find themselves the owners of the most famous zebra in the world. This after Ed the zebra escaped in Rutherford County and that led to a high drama effort to catch him.

"Ed," the elusive zebra who's evaded capture in Rutherford County for more than a week, was finally corralled in Christiana on June 8.

After a week full of adventures, Ed the pet zebra, is back at his Tennessee home with help from a Texas-based aviation crew. Tango 82 Aviation, based in Fredericksburg, located zebra Ed and returned him to his owner Sunday after he went missing from a new owner May 31 in Christiana,

Ed the zebra, who has been roaming around all of Rutherford County, has been captured. A team from Texas that sold Ed arrived with a helicopter and successfully located him in Christian, Tenn.
