That celebration will include the return of the team's original jerseys from its inaugural season back in 1976. The Buccaneers will wear their 1976 uniforms for their Week 1 showdown against the New York Jets .

The jerseys are adorned with a faint amber garnish atop a mainly white surface. The helmet is a mural, paying tribute to another icon of Tampa Bay's past: Bucco Bruce, the winking pirate who was the organization's logo for 21 years.
