Almost a decade ago, Lewis Pullman began his acting career by appearing opposite dad Bill Pullman in the western The Ballad of Lefty Brown. Since then, he’s forged his own path, appearing in high-flying features such as Top Gun: Maverick and Marvel Studios’ The Thunderbolts* and earning an Emmy nomination for Lessons in Chemistry.

The 71-year-old Hornell native and Hollywood star has signed on to reprise one of his earliest and most iconic big screen roles – the Han Solo-esque Lone Starr in a sequel to the 1987 comedy spoof “Spaceballs.”

This is not a drill, movie fans! A Spaceballs sequel is in the works and set for release in 2027 — and three of its original stars will reprise their roles.
