PITTSBURGH -- Pat McAfee addressed the impending lawsuit against him by Mary Kay Cornett, an 18-year-old Ole Miss student who says McAfee ruined her life. McAfee referenced a rumor in late February regarding the father of an Ole Miss frat student allegedly having a sexual relationship with his son’s girlfriend, who was a member of a sorority.

"I didn’t want to add any more negativity as it was taking place. … We will try to figure that out and make some sort of silver lining in a very terrible situation," McAfee said Wednesday.

ESPN host and former West Virginia University football star Pat McAfee seemingly addressed lawsuit threats he has received since spreading a rumor about a student at Ole Miss on "The Pat McAfee Show" back in February.
