MINOT, N.D. – Passengers on a Delta Airlines flight operated by SkyWest got a scare after a near miss with a B-52 near Minot Friday. The pilot of the flight from Minneapolis to Minot apologized to passengers for what he called an aggressive maneuver. He says he was cleared to land when he noticed the B-52 and had to take action.

The Minot Family YMCA is closed until further notice due to flooding caused by a burst pipe Friday evening, according to a statement from the organization. MINOT, N.D. — An incident involving a SkyWest flight from Minneapolis to Minot on Friday, July 18, is under investigation after a close call with another aircraft. The incident involved SkyWest flight 3788, a Delta Connection from Minneapolis.

An investigation is underway after a near miss between a Delta Connection flight operated by SkyWest and a B-52 near Minot, North Dakota. A SkyWest spokesperson says Flight 3788 from Minneapolis to Minot on Friday was cleared for approach by the tower.
