The U.S. is up to 1,168 confirmed measles cases this year. Texas added four cases in the last week, which shows continued slowing in its outbreak.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement provided video clips from Tuesday's operation in South Omaha. A day after ICE served a warrant at a South Omaha business, Mayor John Ewing, Police Chief Schmaderer, and other local officials held a news conference Wednesday to share more details about the events that transpired.

One confirmed case of measles has been reported in southwest Missouri this year. It was a child who traveled internationally to Taney County in April. Officials do not believe the virus was spread in the community.

As measles cases in the United States continue to mount, neighboring countries Canada and Mexico are also experiencing significant outbreaks – all of which have been linked to at least one death.

The case is the third reported in the state since 2019 and comes one day after a vaccinated adult man tested positive for measles.

The man was vaccinated against the virus, which has caused the nation's worst outbreak this year since 2019. It's not yet clear whether his infection was linked to travel.

Colorado Springs has reported two new cases of measles since June 9, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment. One case involves a child under who recently returned from a trip to Canada, and the second involves an unvaccinated adult at Denver International Airport.

There have been seven confirmed measles cases and four probable cases in the province so far this month, Manitoba Health says.

According to information released by ADPH, the investigation is taking place in Lee County, involving one person “who was not yet eligible for vaccine.” The CDC recommends that children get their first dose of the vaccine when they are between 12 and 15 months old.
