Kirk Cousins is not expected to be the Falcons' starter in 2025, but Atlanta has not shown any urgency when it comes to potentially trading him.

The Falcons signed Cousins to a four-year, $180 million contract last offseason, but he was replaced by rookie quarterback Michael Penix Jr. toward the end of the year. In his 14 games under center for Atlanta, he threw for 3,508 yards, 18 touchdowns and a career-high 16 interceptions, the latter of which tied for the league lead.
