One person is dead and multiple others are injured after a tornado flipped a home upside down in Fayette County on Thursday, authorities said. A spokesperson with the Fayette County Sheriff's Office said the death occurred near Lagrange in southeast Fayette County.

The National Weather Service has confirmed that a tornado did touch down in the Tri-State on Thursday. The tornado was confirmed in Clinton and Fayette counties at about 1:30 a.m. near Sabina. It was rated as an EF0 with an estimated peak wind speed of 85 mph.
