President Donald Trump is traveling to Scotland on Friday to visit both his Turnberry and Aberdeen golf properties. Trump is also set to meet with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer to discuss trade and refine a deal they announced in June to slash tariffs and expand market access between the two countries.
The Scots are generally not fans of Mr. Trump, and protests are already planned. A group called “Stop Trump Scotland” said it is organizing a “festival of resistance” against Mr. Trump during the trip and has called on John Swinney, the first minister of Scotland, to decline to meet with him.
Jeffrey Epstein scandal is once again rocking US President Donald Trump's inner circle, and this time the fallout appears to be more difficult to contain. His allies in Washington are reportedly in a state of panic as the president prepares to fly to Scotland.
