The Battlefield 6 Beta is raging with players free to jump into the fray now through the end of Sunday, Aug. 17. As the second weekend of the preview period, there are a few changes that open up the beta with more modes, maps and play options -- along with tweaks the game's developer DICE has enacted in response to player feedback.

The first beta phase of Battlefield 6 was a resounding success for EA and DICE. Battlefield seems to be on everyone's lips again, and one of Battlefield's special features has also received a major upgrade.
