The Abbotsford Canucks won the Calder Cup for the first time in their history by defeating the Charlotte Checkers 3-2 in Game 6 of the Finals at Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte, North Carolina, on Monday.

Linus Karlsson scored the tiebreaking goal late in the second period and the Abbotsford Canucks beat the Charlotte Checkers 3-2 on Monday night to win their first Calder Cup championship.

After a magical playoff run filled with standout performances, the Abbotsford Canucks have officially won the 2025 Calder Cup. This is Abbotsford’s first Calder Cup win in franchise history and their first time making it out of the second round since their inaugural season in 2021.
