The MLB Speedway Classic has been suspended by rain. The Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds started the first MLB regular-season game in the state of Tennessee after a 2-hour, 17-minute rain delay before the first pitch.

The game was called off late Saturday evening, in the bottom of the first inning with the Cincinnati Reds up one run on the Atlanta Braves.
